What is Cholesterol?
Cholesterol is waxy, fat like substance present
only in animal foods. It is part of the membrane of all cells,
including those in our own bodies. The body makes most of the
cholesterol it needs - there is no need to eat foods that contain
cholesterol for most people. Besides eggs, do you know how
many foods you eat every day that contain cholesterol? There are
4 major sources of cholesterol in a typical diet!
