As a Registered Dietitian for the past 17 years,
I have enjoyed working in a variety of healthcare settings and counseling
patients with a multitude of nutrition concerns. I have a behavioral
approach which supports positive lifestyle changes and success.
Progress is made with a team effort (yourself and myself) working
towards your goal for a healthier you. Utilizing my professional
expertise from the comfort of your own home is a win-win solution.
My schooling includes a Bachelor of Science
degree in Foods and Nutrition from San Diego State University, a Dietetic
Internship at Northridge Hospital Medical Center and a Master's in Public
Health degree from San Diego State University. My
employment history includes working in hospital settings, community clinics,
providing grocery store tours, outpatient programs and most recently
teaching college nutrition and health courses. I recently obtained my
certificate of training in "Adult Weight Management" provided by
the American Dietetic Association.
