while designed for you personally will not interfere too much with
the way you and the rest of your family eats. The diet plan is
quite practical this way. The
PersonalDiets™
pretty much allows you to continue eating whatever your family is
already eating (but within the context of a healthier diet) and it
really does not disrupt what everyone else is eating either. The
plan is quite adaptable, even at restaurants, and there is enough
information devoted to applying your diet to your family in the
member's area that helps you prepare for a variety of eating
situations. Likewise, you can work with your own favorite family
recipes to make them fit into your diet plan so that you don't have
to forsake your favorites, just modify.
Family member can learn a lot
from the PersonalDiets™
and will very likely be curious about how it works with just a
little encouragement. Other families that have been used our
Personalized Diets have indirectly learned a great deal about
portion control, what a balanced diet looks like, as well as the
importance of good nutrition just from seeing our tracking tool (the
Right-on- Tracker).
While the diet is beneficial
for the whole family we really don't recommend weight loss dieting
for children younger than 18 years of age as they are still growing.
Restricting their calories would just compromise their nutrition,
when they need it the most.
Allow kids to eat all the same
foods you are eating as there is not a lot of limitations and
if you are concerned at all about their weight, have them exercise
more. Simply having healthier food options in the house, even along
with typical snacks will give your family more opportunities to make
better food choices, even if you don't do it all the time. It does
not have to be an "all or nothing" ordeal to make this plan work
with your family.
